Largest California Cannabis Supply Chain Event Links B2B Opportunities in California’s New Cannabis Era: September 21, 2018, Fortuna River Lodge, 1800 Riverwalk Drive, Fortuna, CA
EUREKA, Calif., Sept. 14, 2018 /PRNewswire/ — In the new era of safe and legal cannabis in California, the Humboldt County Growers Alliance (HCGA), established to advance the interests of legal and responsible cannabis businesses in Humboldt County, announces a power event, MEET THE BUYERS, for cannabis producers and distributors to meet and forge new business relationships with each other to more efficiently provide high-quality, clean and reliable cannabis to consumers throughout the State of California.
MEET THE BUYERS will provide a unique opportunity for members of the Cannabis Distribution Association (CDA), representing a diverse group of cannabis distributors throughout California, to meet and greet more than 200 licensed Humboldt County cannabis producers. Humboldt County has the largest concentration of licensed cannabis businesses in the state, producing high-quality, clean and environmentally sustainable cannabis.
“Humboldt County is open for business! We are excited to lead the industry in nurturing partnerships important to strengthening a statewide network of newly licensed and legal businesses, encouraging their success, and making Humboldt’s world renowned cannabis readily accessible to consumers. The event is sold out with more than 475 participants from Humboldt and around the State wanting to connect for business growth,” said Terra Carver, Executive Director of HCGA.
Lauren Fraser, Executive Director of CDA commented, “Our goal is to bridge the gap in the supply chain and create opportunities to make these face-to-face connections between local producers and statewide distributors. We are enthusiastic to see so many companies attending this year’s event!”
Chris Coulombe, CEO, Pacific Expeditors said, “This is one of the most important events of the year for my company. I congratulate Terra Carver and Natalynne DeLapp of HCGA and Lauren Fraser of CDA for their dynamic efforts to make this unique event such a success.”
Pat Andrews, CEO of Ice Box Flat Farms, a Humboldt cultivator remarked, “This event is a fantastic opportunity to meet a number of distributors, to connect one-on-one and to create the right partnership for our business model. I can tell you personally that this event is very effective. Last year we met the right distributor and, as a result, we are now selling in 25 dispensaries statewide and our business is growing!”
