Tweet It: The @NVDispense will share results from an economic impact report detailing the impact of the first year of recreational cannabis sales in Nevada on Friday, Oct. 26.

Las Vegas – The Nevada Dispensary Association (NDA) has developed a summary of its economic impact report detailing the first year of recreational cannabis sales throughout the state. A presentation and press conference will be held at Cili Restaurant at Bali Hai Golf Club to release this information at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 26.

The report details information on tax revenue from legalized marijuana, projected revenue and economic benefits through 2024, employment statistics, regulatory costs and more. Speakers will include John Restrepo, principal of RCG Economics; Andrew Jolley, NDA president; John Ritter, NDA board member; Tick Segerblom, Nevada state senator; and Steve Sisolak, Clark County commissioner. Questions from attendees will follow the presentation and speakers.

“This report answers many questions and rebuffs many public concerns following the first year of retail cannabis sales in Nevada,” said Nevada Dispensary Association executive director, Riana Durrett. “We’re looking forward to sharing this information with the community and continuing our messaging of consumer education and safety.”
