CAREER SELF-LEADERSHIP GROUP FOR PEOPLE WORKING IN THE CANNABIS INDUSTRY

ARCATA—Career Self-Leadership workshop and support group starting September 11.  A free introductory meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, August 29 at 6:30 p.m. The workshop is exclusively designed for people in the cannabis arena who are in a life/work transition, need to deal more effectively with the fears and uncertainty of legalization or plan their future steps in-or-out of the cannabis industry.

Meetings consist of presentations, group discussions, and exercises designed to help members gain clarity and direction for the next steps of their career. The group meets for three hours on Tuesday evenings every three weeks over a four-month period.  Conducted in a supportive small group environment, the focus will be on directing attention from external challenges, beyond member’s control, to their personal needs, life skills and decision-making process. Seminar facilitation is by a credentialed career counselor and marketing consultant with 20+ years working with people in unconventional industries.

The free introductory meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, August 29 from 6:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. in Arcata.
