I used to live in Colorado before moving back to California where I grew up and I’ve purchased and tried cannabis and more than 30 dispensaries. California weed is just OVER PRICED weed to be honest. I can get a $250 ounce of weed in California in Colorado with the same QUALITY sometimes even more powerful for $100-150. And that is BEFORE taxes. They also have more taxes in California as opposed to Colorado so the prices of weed in California go EVEN HIGHER.
Overall, the issue is dispensaries over charge their mediocre weed before the taxes even get slapped on in California. California weed is more expensive before taxes. Than after taxes it’s just depressing. You would think that since California has much better outdoor growing conditions than Colorado that weed would be cheaper in California, wrong, they over charge everything in California for weed.
