Waking up in the morning can be difficult at times as well as getting a good night’s rest. One directly affects the other, so these issues can throw an entire day and night (or week) off. What if there is a way to resolve these issues while also benefiting personal health and wellness?
Enter Prismatic Plants. The company’s Good Day and Good Night formulas provide solutions to aid these issues. Sarah Polansky founded Prismatic Plants in 2019 after experiencing her own personal mental and physical health issues.
What’s in the Tinctures
Prismatic Plants offers tinctures for both daytime and nighttime relief. Both products are made up of herbs, adaptogens, hemp, and terpenes like caryophyllene and myrcene. The formulas also contain key cannabinoids such as CBD, CBDa and CBN to help reduce the body’s response to internal and external stressors.
According to Luna Technologies, CBDa can potentially treat anxiety, and promote overall mental and physical well-being.
CBN, according to Cresco Labs, is an effective sleep aid, relieves pain and helps regulate the immune system.
Prismatic Plants’ approach is introducing hemp + adaptogen products that address several bodily systems to reduce stress and increase vitality. The cannabinoids work with the endocannabinoid system, which helps promote balance. Furthermore, adaptogens help the body adjust to stressors. Combining the two creates a modernized, plant-based medicine that is game-changing.
Good Day and Good Night each contain organic extract blends. Both blends also focus on reducing stress, and improving memory and concentration.
For example, Good Day includes Bacopa leaf and Asian ginseng root. According to Healthline, Bacopa leaf helps boost brain function while alleviating anxiety.
Additionally, Asian ginseng root also helps improve physical stamina, stimulates immune function and relieves other health problems according to WebMD.
Good Night includes extract blends such as oatstraw aerial and California poppy, helping those with trouble sleeping. According to Healthline, oatstraw aerial specifically targets stress, anxiety and depression.
California poppy targets the same points. However, it also focuses on insomnia, aches and nervous agitation according to RxList.
Personally, I struggle with both lack of sleep and energy. My energy usually comes from drinking lots of coffee or water from the moment I wake up until it’s time for bed. Consequently, I thought these tinctures would be beneficial for my physical and mental ability to do things as well as catching up with my sleep.
How to Take the Tinctures
Checking the mail with anticipation, I received a secured package of my Prismatic Plants products. The outside packaging featured a color scheme that gives trippy and eye-boggling vibes. On one side of the packaging, Good day, is an image of an eye wide open. Next to it is Good Night, which has an image of a tired eye.
The instructions on the back of the box recommend that users start with five drops under the tongue and wait 15-30 minutes. If well tolerated, the company says a consumer may take 30 drops or 1ml (one full dropper). For both products, I took the recommended five drops and continued to do so the next two weeks. For those that have a low tolerance, as I do, I recommend only taking the five drops for both.
To truly feel the effects of the tinctures, I also recommend taking the drops at the same time for both day and night.
Good Day
300 mg CBD and 100 mg CBDa per bottle
$65
Good Day is meant to induce calmness, and increase focus and energy while reducing anxiousness.
I decided to take Good Day every morning at 10:00 a.m. for a week. After I placed five droplets underneath my tongue, I felt an oily texture. The taste, at first, is a bit intense; it’s herbal and bitter, but fades away shortly.
After 30 minutes after consumption I began to notice an uplift in my mood. I was focused, and less stressed throughout the day. I am typically someone who is constantly stressed 24/7 and could not believe how relaxed I felt.
The effects lasted roughly three hours. But it did keep me away from coffee and got my morning moving.
The only downside to this product is waiting for the droplets to dissolve underneath the tongue for 30 seconds to a minute.
Overall, I am very happy with this product. In fact, I plan to keep using it because it was so effective at reducing my stress and helping maintain my focus.

Good Night
300 mg CBD and 10 mg CBN per bottle
$65
For those with sleep issues, Good Night promotes deep, reinvigorating sleep that improves the immune system, according to the company.
As previously stated, I only used five drops underneath the tongue and did this every night before I went to bed. With the herbal taste of the tincture morning and night, it began to get easier to tolerate.
After roughly 15-20 minutes, I fell asleep and I can proudly say it was a relief to have a deep slumber that I haven’t had in a very long time.
I usually suffer from insomnia on most nights; but to have caught up on my sleep that fast was unbelievable. I woke up the next day feeling significantly less stress and muscle tension as well as a happy go-lucky mood.

Test Results
For consumers, test results aka a certificate of analysis (COA) helps reveal whether or not the product is free of contaminants like pesticides, etc. Additionally, COAs help determine if products contain the same amount of cannabinoids as the company advertises.
In terms of accuracy, experts suggest that products should contain a +/-10% range of what is on the product’s label. For example, if a product label states it has 100 mg of THC, COAs should confirm it has between 90 to 110 mg of THC. If it falls within the 10% range, it earns an A; 20% a B; 30% a C; 31% or more an F.
Anresco Labs conducted the test results for both of the company’s tinctures — which are available on Prismatic Plants’ website.
For Good Day, the tincture should contain 300 mg of CBD and 100 mg of CBDa. The COA shows there are 10.66 mg/ml of CBD in each 30 ml bottle. This brings the total CBD content to 319.8 mg (10.66 x 30).
For CBDa, the COA shows 3.59 mg/ml for a total of 107.7 mg (3.59 x 30) per bottle. Both CBD and CBDa fall within the 10% range, giving Good Day an A.
For Good Night, there should be 300 mg of CBD and 10 mg of CBN per bottle. The COA shows 9.84 mg/ml of CBD in the 30 ml per bottle. As a result, there is a total of 295.2 mg (9.84 x 30) of CBD. It also earns an A.
For CBN, there’s .36 mg/ml in each 30 ml bottle coming out to a total of 10.8 mg (.36 x 30) per bottle. It falls within the 10% ranges, and also earns an A.
Worth it?
I found the Good Night tincture to be refreshing and invigorating for me, especially because it targets stress and insomnia relief. I suffer from both on a daily basis, so finding something that aids both — CBD and adaptogens — has improved my mental and physical health.
Additionally, the Good Day tincture gave me a new perspective; I no longer fully commit to putting on a cup of coffee each morning.
With every great product comes a price, and for these two, $65 per 30 ml tincture may seem a bit high. But compared to multiple competitors within the market, prices are indeed fair. However, they also offer a mini set for $35, and a Day and Night set for $125.
I’ve used other products for many years to help me sleep and reduce stress. Personally, I found these Prismatic Plants products effective compared to other medications and products.
Overall, I found both the Good Day and the Good Night tincture to do exactly what the company promises. While one promoted focus throughout the day, the other induced sleep (and in turn, boosted my energy and mood).
