Cannaflower, the predecessor of Berkshire CBD, is a cannabis cultivation company that offers a range of low-THC, high-CBD cannabis products that are made from hemp.
These modern cannabis products are designed to “transform ordinary moments into extraordinary ones,” according to the Cannaflower website. The company offers a full spectrum of CBD flowers, pre-rolls and oils that can energize or calm consumers.
This week I tried five different Cannaflower CBD products — two flowers and three pre-rolls.
Lemon Drop (Flower): The Energizer
133 mg per gram
$12.95 per gram
To sharpen focus and boost energy levels, the Lemon Drop flower is the perfect choice for getting through the day.
This flower contains an array of terpenes — botanical compounds that release certain flavors and aromas — such as myrcene (musky scent), caryophyllene (peppery) and pinene (pine), and other cannabinoids like CBDA, which turns to CBD when heated, reports Lea
fly. Test results also show the flower contains 133 mg of CBD and 5 mg of THC per gram.
As a busy college student, I rely on coffee or naps (if I’m lucky to find the time) to keep me energized throughout the day. But this week, I did not have to stop working to fuel up because I had Cannaflower’s Lemon Drop flower. This CBD-rich sativa revitalized me after just two to three hits of the flower. In fact, it kept me focused for the rest of the day.
I smoked the flower at about 3 p.m. and took another small hit later in the evening. This was perfect for me because I was sharp enough to complete my work, but I still felt tired by the time I called it a night around 10 p.m.
With the Lemon Drop flower, I had the same amount of energy at 5 p.m. as I did when I woke up. And with a small second hit, I could get through my day without as much as a yawn. It was a natural energy boost that allowed me to tune into my tasks without making me feel hyper or easily sidetracked. I felt like I was naturally leveling up.

Cherry Wine (Flower): Calming — but Not for Bedtime
104 mg of CBD per gram
$8.95 per gram
On the other side of the CBD spectrum is the Cherry Wine flower, which Cannaflower suggests is calming and helps ease restless nights. However, I found this product to be a bit energizing as well.
I felt the calming effects of the flower hit me immediately — but then, I got a little burst of energy about 30 minutes later when I went to bed. While the product is supposed to chase away long nights, I tossed and turned more than I usually do. Although I fell asleep within half an hour, I woke up multiple times throughout the night.
The Cherry Wine is a soothing flower but I would not recommend using it as a bedside companion.
The flower’s test results show that the strain has about 104 mg of CBD, and 3.7 mg of THC per gram. It’s also got a range of terpenes like caryophyllene (which smells of cracked pepper), terpinolene (woody) and humulene (earthy).

Lifter (Pre-Roll): the Best of Both Worlds — A Mood Booster and Energizer
195 mgs of CBD per gram
$24.95 per five-pack
I absolutely loved Lifter, and honestly, I wish Cannaflower sent more of it. This one gram pre-roll was the perfect amount to uplift my mood and give me a burst of energy that put some pep back in my step.
After waking up one morning and feeling a little sick and lethargic, I knew it was the perfect time to test out Lifter. I smoked about three-fourths of the pre-roll and my day was completely transformed. My mood improved tremendously; I was taken from isolation to socialization. I felt like myself again, and I had the energy to do something other than just sit on the couch for the first time all day.
I smoked the majority of Lifter around 5 p.m. and stayed energized with a positive attitude until 10:30 p.m. Around that time, I realized I had not done much work that day, so I smoked the remaining quarter of the pre-roll and got enough of an energy boost to work for another three hours.
Lifter is by far the best-named product I’ve tried from Cannaflower. I felt lifted in mood, spirit and energy levels, and it truly transformed my day for the better.
The strain has a whopping 195 mg of CBD (and 6.8 mg of THC) per pre-roll, according to test results. The results also show Lifter contains terpenes like myrcene (which has a musky aroma) and caryophyllene (cracked pepper).

Hawaiian Haze and Joy (Pre-Rolls): A Chill Vibe
150 mg per pre-roll (750 mg per pack)
$24.95 per pack
The Hawaiian Haze pre-roll is the way to go for relieving anxiety or just relaxing.
I found this sweet, mango-flavored pre-roll to be a tasteful way to ease my nerves in the middle of the day. It gave me enough of a mood boost to mellow me out. However, it did not energize me like the other products.
As someone whose anxiety can leave them shaking, I highly recommend the Hawaiian Haze to anyone searching for a product that leaves them content but not lazy.
Similarly, the Joy pre-roll was a great midday pick-me-up. Like the Hawaiian Haze, I found this product to be a mood booster that gave me some umph without energizing me as much as the other pre-rolls and flowers.
These products work well separately, but they also complement each other. As such, I recommend them to those looking to maintain an improved mood throughout the day. I suggest starting with the Hawaiian Haze and then smoking the Joy later in the day.
The products’ labels suggest that both Hawaiian Haze and Joy have 150 mg of CBD per gram/pre-roll. However, third party test results reveal that the Hawaiian Haze pre-rolls contain 180 mg per gram/pre-rolls. That’s 30 mg — or roughly 20% — more CBD per joint than advertised. Furthermore, Joy also contains more CBD than advertised. The joints have 177 mg of CBD each, according to their test results.
Hawaiian Haze: 4.2/5 emeralds
Joy: 3.7/5 emeralds
Final Thoughts on Cannaflower CBD
Most of these Cannaflower CBD products are well-worth the price.
The cost of the Lemon Drop flower is more than responsible given the tremendous transformation it can have on your day. As for the Cherry Wine, it’s a bit cheaper and I can see why given its energizing properties.
As for the pre-rolls, at one gram per roll this is another good purchase. Both the singles and five-packs are on the cheaper side of the price range for a pre-roll so high in CBD.
I would highly recommend these products to my friends. But I would caution them that the flowers are more energizing than they seem. Aside from the Cherry Wine misleading me as a bedtime flower, all of the other products lived up to their names and descriptions.
The pre-rolls were less energizing than the flowers. Nevertheless, I think the Lemon Drop flower proved to be more than useful for me this week.
I will definitely purchase these products in the future. In fact, I will have probably bought another Lifter pre-roll by the time this review is published.
