The cannabis industry is dominated by men. In fact, only 17.6 percent of women in cannabis companies hold a “director” or “executive” role, according to a 2019 Forbes article. Subsequently, as the industry continues to grow, it’s increasingly important to highlight these inequalities and support women-owned businesses when possible.
