Día de los Muertos is celebrated on November 1st and 2nd, on both sides of the Mexican border. It is a day to honor those who have passed. It is believed that on these two days, the souls of deceased family members return to earth to celebrate with the living. They are honored with alters, marigolds, photographs, favorite foods…and sometimes cannabis.
In celebration of the holiday, Emerald has rounded up six different Dia de los Muertos-inspired cannabis products that will further blur the lines of life and death.

In a recent interview with the High Times, George Sadler, the president of Platinum Vape, stated that the Pinã de los Muertos gummies are “a respectful nod to our diversity and rich heritage” of the company’s home state of California, “a diverse state with a history of Spanish, Indigenous, and Mexican influences in all aspects of life.”
The gummies combine the flavors of sweet tropical fruits, not forgetting to add a hint of that Mexican spice. The indica-based treat will have consumers seeing ghosts, taking them on a trip through memory lane as they celebrate the beautiful cycle of life and death.

$200
Post from @mota_glass on Instagram.
Many know Día de los Muertos for its vibrant colors. Shades of red, yellow, blue, pink, and green, light up the streets of Mexico during the two-day holiday. Mota Glass, inspired by this Latino tradition, designed their Sugar Skull Beaker Bong in celebration.
Handcrafted from durable 9mm borosilicate glass, the 18-inch beaker is adorned with the company’s “Mota” logo/slab and includes colorful calaveritas, or sugar skulls. The beaker is also decorated with marigolds and roses. During the Día de los Muertos marigolds are placed near altars as they supposedly attract souls back to the land of the living.
“[The design] is inspired by the beauty of Mexican culture and the passion cannabis users have for the plant and its community. […] This piece celebrates both heritage and love for cannabis,” the company stated.
“I seriously cannot get enough of this glass piece,” said A. Moreno, a Mota Glass customer, on the company’s website. “The function is out of this world. It is beautiful, thick and in charge. If you are still wondering if you should buy this glass, this is your sign. Do it!”
The company is currently offering a $30 discount on this beaker bong when customers use the code SPOOKY during the month of October.
