Join local politicians, business leaders and tech icons to celebrate the grand re-opening of one of the country’s oldest dispensaries, Garden of Eden. See how the industry has changed since the opening in 2003. San Francisco-based Sand Studios, the award winning design team behind SPARC, designed the dispensary with sidewalk to sky living walls and a peaceful public garden in the back. The finishes are more upscale New York wine bar than dispensary – marble, thick wooden benches, custom metal work, and intricate lighting. “I wanted to create a world class experience dispensary experience,” said CFO Shareef El-Sissi. “I want to be the three Michelin-star of dispensaries.”
WHEN: September 14, 2018
1pm – 6pm; 1pm: Ribbon Cutting with City Officials
The official ceremony will be led by Alameda Supervisor Nate Miley and Garden of Eden CFO Shareef El-Sissi. Attendees will also include Mayor Carol Dutra-Vernaci, Chamber of Commerce officials, as well as representatives of City Councils from Mountain View, Walnut Creek, and Fremont, in addition to business leaders and tech industry icons.
