A Review of Willie’s Remedy Full-Spectrum Hemp Oil Tincture

November 24, 2020 by Kaylin Smida 5 Comments

Willie's Remedy Hemp Oil tincture

Just a few drops a day makes the anxiety go away. This week I tried out Willie’s Remedy Full Spectrum Hemp Oil Tincture. Musician Willie Nelson started this CBD company to showcase the many benefits that hemp has to offer.

The Product

There are three different tinctures available from Willie’s Remedy: a 250 mg bottle, a 500 mg bottle, and 2,500 mg bottle. I tried the 250 mg version, which comes in a 1 fluid ounce bottle, and has about 8 mg of CBD per serving.

There is a QR code on the box that leads consumers to the product’s test results, or Certificates of Analysis (CoA). This is to let consumers know that there are no pesticides or other chemicals in the product. It also indicates when the product was made, and when to use it by.

The bottle comes with a childproof cap with a dropper attached. The company recommends that users put a 1 ml dose under their tongue once to twice per day. But unlike other tinctures I’ve tried, this dropper does not have any measurements on it. Therefore, it was hard to tell how much oil I was getting.

There are only two ingredients in this tincture: full-spectrum hemp extract sourced from USDA-grown, organic plants, and coconut-derived medium chain triglyceride oil (MCT oil). CBD is fat soluble, which means it is more effective when mixed with saturated fats like MCT oil. This allows for the CBD to be more fast acting, or bioavailable.

The Effects of Hemp Oil Tincture

I suffer from anxiety. I’ve taken anxiety medications before and I don’t like the way they make me feel. Sometimes I just don’t feel like myself when I’m on them but I still want my anxiety symptoms to go away.

Because CBD is shown to help treat anxiety, I wanted to try Willie’s Remedy Hemp Oil in order to see if it could help me. This is not to say that everyone will have the same reactions to it, nor that it should be used instead of anxiety medications.

I used this in two different ways: when I woke up in the morning, and when I felt myself becoming anxious. My first thoughts were that the taste of this tincture was much better than other ones I have tried in the past. There was hardly any flavor. It tasted slightly like coconut oil.

Though I enjoyed my morning dosages, I found it did little for me. However, I noticed the effects most when I took it while I started to feel anxious.

I get a lot of body symptoms when I’m anxious including shaking, rapid breathing, and increased heart rate. When I’d notice these symptoms coming on, I’d take a dropper full of the oil and hold it under my tongue like suggested, swallowing it soon after. It didn’t take long for me to feel the effects, about 5-10 minutes. I noticed my symptoms decreased significantly.

I won’t say that this tincture took away my anxiety or my symptoms completely. But I was really happy with the changes I did notice. I became more calm, and focused even though I was still slightly anxious. Also, I think that the act of taking the tincture helped ground me. As such, I look forward to relief, so there’s definitely the possibility of a placebo effect happening.

I really liked Willie’s Remedy Hemp Oil. I would definitely recommend it and other CBD products like it to help with anxiety. It is priced at $35, which is pretty standard for these products.

I sent for a free sample from a willie nelson dolly parton c bd oil. I received it but in a week I was sent another bottle and in another week another bottle. I thought I was only supposed to receive the sample. I returned all but the sample. Unopened. My credit card was charged over $200 for the two bottles. I filed a complaint with my c c and it wad supposed to be removed. It was removed but then retuned to the card. I tried everything but they would never reverse the charges. I feel this was very unfair
    Do I have a remedy?

I, too, was sucked into the same scam as Mary Ann. They tempt you with a line that all you have to do is pay shipping and handling. Next thing you know they charge you $90 here and $100 there. And they keep sending these incredibly small bottles if “hemp” oil and cbd cream. My credit card company and I are in contact with them but they refuse to refund. I did manage to get it stopped finally. But only after they underhandedly “stole” from me. Willie should be aware of this underworld that is running his products’ distribution! I am considering getting my Attorney General involved.
