IRVINE, Calif., Oct. 3, 2018 /PRNewswire/ — Targeting the unsolicited “canna-curious” market in cannabis-legal states, the popular mobile app, Beleaf, will be launching their newest version next month, incorporating a gamified token incentive. Estimated at approximately 86% of the U.S market, Americans curious about cannabis will be able to access the platform via search queries, which are then answered by industry influencers and brands, who supply product to meet the converted consumer demand.

“The canna-curious makes up 86% of the cannabis market and left completely underserved. I’ve seen firsthand the power of this plant, and I believe all consumers can benefit from validated information,” says David Cheng, Founder and CEO. “We’ve created Beleaf to be an all-in-one stop for cannabis – where canna-users are rewarded for creating content and canna-curious consumers can learn from the users. We want to debunk the wrongful, negative perception of cannabis, and Beleaf is here to do that through content and education,” says Cheng.

As the cannabis market in California alone has surpassed financial projections sine legalization, consumers are inundated with content from invalidated sources. By creating a platform that encourages validated content to rise to the top of search queries, and then incentivizing content creators to continue their trusted content, Beleaf is creating an ecosystem that facilitates user empowerment. “The Beleaf platform has generated significant user growth since our launch, but we have seen a new opportunity that supports are mission of providing trusted content,” says Tommy Ngo, Chief Product Officer for Beleaf. “We believe that blockchain technology is a new way for us to increase transparency while validating content for our platform, which is what has led us to now start development on a content blockchain protocol, Novii.”
