Nevada Dispensary Association to Announce Results of Economic Impact Through First Year of Recreational Cannabis Sales
WHAT: The Nevada Dispensary Association (NDA) has developed a summary of the economic impact of the first year of recreational cannabis sales statewide. The NDA will host a press conference to present the statistics and information garnered from this report, detailing tax revenue, projected revenue, economic benefits, employment statistics, regulatory costs, expenses related to operations of marijuana establishments and more.
WHO: Speakers will include John Restrepo, principal of RCG Economics; Andrew Jolley, NDA president; John Ritter, NDA board member; Riana Durrett, NDA executive director; and Tick Segerblom, Nevada state senator. Bill Anderson, director of the Nevada Department of Taxation, will also be available for questions following the presentation.
