Kickstart the day and slip into the night with Toastyy Tablets.

Toastyy is a Black female-owned CBD company whose mission is to inspire women to be their most authentic self. Their products are meant to encourage relaxation, amplify confidence, and empower women to be independent while also getting some much deserved relaxation.

This week I got to try out two CBD supplements from Toastyy — the Sunrise 900 mg and the Sunset 900 mg. These supplements are 100% vegan, hypoallergenic, gluten-free, and non-GMO.

The supplements come in small bottles that fit in one’s hand, they look like any regular pill bottle but with a cute pink wrap around. They come with 30 tiny pills in each. Both the varieties of tablets have 30 mg of CBD each, and are lab tested. Results for the Sunrise and Sunset supplements are available on the company’s website.

The recommended dose is one-two pills as desired. Toastyy says that consumers can take the pills in the morning or any time they need more energy, while the Sunset pills can be taken prior to sleep.

Need a morning boost, but don’t want the side effects of coffee? Toastyy specifically formulated these tablets for natural energy when it may be lacking.

The ingredients include 30 mg of CBD per tablet, vitamin C, b12, and 60 mg of caffeine. According to the independent medical resource, Drugs.com, CBD can lower anxiety and depression, which can help improve mood and increase energy.

B12 has a variety of benefits as well. Healthline writes that b12 may help improve mood and symptoms of depression because having a  b12 deficiency lowers serotonin, which can cause depression.

They also mention that a b12 deficiency is linked to memory loss, so by increasing  b12 intake, one can possibly improve their memory. B12, like CBD, may also increase energy along with many other benefits.

The supplement’s other ingredient, vitamin C, helps boost the immune system. Additionally, Every Day Health writes that it can also lower one’s risk of chronic disease, and may enhance brain function.

Caffeine also has many health benefits, which is why so many people start their day with a cup of coffee. Healthline writes that caffeine can improve mood and metabolism, and help protect against heart disease. However, caffeine can have a comedown that includes headaches and lethargy for some people. But Toastyy assures its customers that that is not an issue with these supplements.

I took two pills in the morning, and within half an hour, I noticed a rise in my  concentration/focus. My energy levels were definitely up, and I noticed I was yawning a lot less.

I think depending on how tired one is in the mornings, these might be used as a replacement for coffee. I didn’t notice any adverse side effects either.

Toastyy developed their Sunset supplements for those having trouble sleeping and need a little extra help,

These pills are meant to help consumers relax and fall asleep naturally by combining melatonin, chamomile, and CBD.

Though CBD can help raise energy levels, as previously mentioned, it can also promote sleep and relaxation. According to Medical News Today, CBD is often used to help reduce anxiety, panic disorders, and even PTSD. It may also help relax the body and mind along with many other health benefits.

Melatonin is the body’s natural “sleep chemical.” Though it doesn’t necessarily put people to sleep, the body produces more melatonin close to bedtime to help induce sleep. According to Hopkins Medicine, if one is having trouble sleeping, taking melatonin supplements a few hours before bedtime may help the sleep process.

Additionally, chamomile is widely known as a sleep aid. According to Healthline, Chamomile could be considered a “mild tranquilizer.” It has an antioxidant called apigenin which connects to certain receptors in the brain, which may help decrease anxiety and kickstart sleep.

This combination of sleep-inducing ingredients can make for a super helpful sleep-aid. So, I took these on nights when I was having some trouble falling asleep.

I noticed that after about half an hour, I felt sleepier than I did before. I wouldn’t say these just put me to sleep, but they helped relax my body in a way that prepared me for sleep. Plus, I had no drowsiness the next day.

Overall, I found the Sunrise Tablets to be an effective coffee alternative, while the Sunset blends were a helpful sleep aid.
