Toastyy’s Empowering Tinctures for the Mind and Body

We’ve tried a lot of CBD tinctures or hemp oils here at Emerald. We like them one their own as sublinguals, as toppings for desserts, and for skincare.

This week, we’re putting a spotlight on formulas from Toastyy, a Black-owned CBD company whose mission is to empower women through their line of CBD-infused wellness products.

Here are just a few of our favorite uses for Toastyy’s vegan, lab tested, GMO-free tinctures.

Tea Time

Tinctures are some of the most versatile cannabis products on the market. Users mainly consume them by simply dropping the oil under their tongues for quick absorption. However, one can also add them to beverages or food.

We added Toastyy’s Vanilla tincture — a broad-spectrum (THC free) oil with 900 mg or 1,800 mg of CBD — to a lemon and ginger tea, and topped it off with locally-made honey. We used the 900 mg blend for this easy-to-make but extra soothing blend.

Overall, the tea’s tanginess complimented the sweetness of the Vanilla tincture. The addition of CBD also induced a stronger sense of relaxation and sleepiness than the tea by itself.

Tangy Inspo

While Toastyy’s Orange tincture would also make a great addition to a tea, or even as a topper for a bowl of fresh fruit — we enjoy it on its own too.

Similar to the company’s vanilla-flavored blend, this tincture comes in two strengths: one with 900 mg of CBD and the other with 1,800 mg. Unlike the Vanilla, the Orange tincture is made with full-spectrum hemp oil, which means it contains trace amounts of THC (less than .3%). Neither oil, however, is psychoactive.

We tried the 900 mg variety, and found it to have a soft citrus taste that was just right. When taking one to two full droppers throughout the day, it boosted focus and motivation to complete tasks.

The Big Boys

One Emerald contributor broke out the big boys — the 1,800 mg varieties — to help alleviate symptoms of anxiety. She tested out both the broad-spectrum Vanilla tincture and the full-spectrum Orange tincture.

Both took effect within 10 minutes, she writes. “I tend to get pretty shaky, with a racing heart as my most prominent symptom, and these oils helped reduce those symptoms greatly. [They] also helped just relax me in general. After a long day of work, it’s nice to unwind with a bit of CBD, and without the psychoactive effects of THC.”

Toastyy for the Mind and Body

Toastyy’s products are truly empowering. Armed with these tried and tested tinctures, we’re confident we can handle what’s thrown our way.

The company’s tinctures alone prove to be versatile, like CBD consumers themselves. They come in different strengths and flavors, and can be used to boost focus, or clear the mind. The tinctures also help promote much needed relaxation, while also soothing the body and the mind.
