Bravely fighting off a mix of incessant rain and suffocating humidity, we attended the CBD Wellness and Lifestyle Pop-Up, a showroom solely dedicated to weed and CBD held in New York City on June 20th. Hosted by White Label CBD at “The Space” on Greenwich Street in Soho, this is a three-day pop-up event showcasing 20 CBD brands for pets, beauty & skincare, sexual wellness and holistic lifestyle.
The pop-up is free and open to the public from Friday, June 21st through Sunday, June 23rd, so go check it out!
This event sought to bring transparency to the CBD industry by connecting consumers with producers, educating shoppers on the benefits of this non-intoxicating cannabinoid—plus providing a direct marketplace for brands. Some of the vendors included American Hemp Co, which provides full-absorption CBD extract via a classified Liposomal formula; Cannisence, which supports today’s working women and loved ones and providing the highest quality hemp products at an affordable price; “CBD Best Oil,” offering beauty and eye creams, emollients and tinctures created using full-spectrum and isolate CBD products providing handcrafted body butters and pain-relieving balms made with organic ingredients.
The Pop Up featured a variety of different attractions: from free hand massages to CBD infused vodka cocktails, a cbd infused cotton candy stand and a chocolate fountain. And, of course, the stands of the vendors presenting their cbd based products to the crowd. We loved direct connection between the consumer and the seller: the representatives of every brand explained what their products were made of, their purpose, and guided us through their beneficial effects.
Everything was available to be sampled, and needless to say, we had a great time. Some of our favorite products from the night were “House of Spain”, a cannabidiol infused olive oil from premium Spanish olives, the “Muru” cbd edible drops, that the bartender diligently infused every drink with, the “Canniscence” lemon drops for extra strength, and the “Heavenly Candy” sour patch gummy bears, made with premium CBD products composed of micro cannabinoids.
The last 30 minutes of the event were dedicated to a panel, which featured some of the vendors and focused on educational matters. Every panelist was asked questions such as: “What is CBD? And what is CBD for you?” With two minutes each, everyone connected with the audience by giving the crowd their own view of cannabis, why they decided to invest their lives in it, and how much CBD has improved their own personal experiences.
Overall, the pop-up is a great opportunity for CBD lovers and newbies alike to really delve into the culture and have the opportunity to purchase a variety of different products while connecting with the brands’ founders and representatives.
