Why You Should Add Herbivore’s Emerald Glow Oil To Your Summer Skincare Routine

July 9, 2019 by Rita Thompson Leave a Comment

Summer is upon us, a time when the heat gets so blistering that the thought of applying a face of makeup can seem like a sweaty disaster waiting to happen. While we’re all looking for ways to achieve natural, glowing skin, Herbivore’s Emerald Deep Moisture Glow Oil may just be the solution you’ve been looking for. Based on the name of the product and Herbivore’s advocacy for the cannabis industry, we had to try it out.

Here’s what we thought:

Described as the “green goddess of facial oils,” the one ounce oil, priced at $48, came in a beautiful, floral print box that perfectly coincided with the products emerald green color. Infused with Hemp Seed Oil to moisturize complexion, soothe redness and prevent signs of aging, Emerald Deep Moisture Glow Oil will leave your skin feeling rich in both moisture and glow. Not to mention, it is a natural, vegan and cruelty free product. By far the most intriguing ingredient that Emerald makes use of, though, is Cannabis Essential Oil. The chemical compound that gives each strain of cannabis it’s unique flavor and aroma is used in the oil to help calm the mind through holistic aromatherapy, making for even more pleasant application and results.

Upon application, we found the oil to provide an immediate glow that left us feeling polished, without unwanted shine. Always happy with a product that requires very little instruction in the application department, the tincture made it easy to apply, and after a quick massage sesh to ensure the oil soaked in, we found the product to do exactly as it claimed. Leaving behind little to no oily residue, Emerald Deep Moisture Glow Oil provided for a glowing complexion that is sure to leave you feeling confident, sans makeup, perfect for a hot summer day or when you’re running late to work. However, don’t be shy to use it under your makeup for added moisture, or before bed for overnight absorption.

While this specific product does not contain any THC or CBD, Herbivore has noted their support and advocacy for the industry, and thus, is donating $1 of every Emerald Deep Moisture Glow Oil to Americans for Safe Access, an organization that supports safe and legal access to cannabis for therapeutic use and research. So, if you love cannabis and skin care as much as we do, you’ll definitely want to buy this product.
