CBD-infused tea could be your new afternoon fix.
After you’ve spent hundreds of days in a row working from home, you’ve probably already tried every mood booster that’s landed on your Instagram feed. From TikTok whipped coffee to DIY quarantine cocktails, you could probably use a new way of decompressing from the daily phenomena of 2020. Next time you’re looking for that afternoon fix, try Chill CBD-Infused Tea and thank me later.
Chill CBD-Infused Teas
These teas have your chill at top priority. The blend of hemp extract and tea deliver you both the antioxidant benefits of tea as well as the relaxation effects of CBD, making it the ideal alternative to your mid-day coffee break. Instead of recharging with Starbucks or soda, you can do it the Chill way with naturally caffeinated organic tea.
The Flavors
I tried the variety pack, which includes all four of their flavors: Lemon Black, Honey Rose, Passion Fruit, and Jasmine Green Tea. Each 16 fl oz. tea is infused with 30mg of Hemp CBD to help you de-stress, and each flavor has unique benefits listed on the bottle. My personal favorites were the Passion Fruit and Lemon Black flavors. The Honey Rose and Jasmine Green Tea flavors were a bit too fragrant for me, but I would recommend them if you like a more earthy taste.
The Effects
The calming effect from the CBD was subtle but apparent. I didn’t feel wildly relaxed after drinking them, but I did notice it helped to quiet my mind when I was feeling stressed. I thought it was a nice blend with the effects of the caffeine from the tea. Although I felt more awake and alert, I did not feel hyper, which can happen with regular coffee or soft drinks. This made it a good afternoon pick-me-up because it allowed me to calm down and de-stress, but still keep my focus. However… I still can’t say that I’ll be totally ditching iced coffee anytime soon.
Are CBD-Infused Teas Worth It??
If you want to give them a try, you can go for the variety pack which is $27.96 ($6.99 each). That way you can test all four flavors and decide which you like the best. However, if you just want to try one out, my advice would be: choose the Passion Fruit or Lemon Black tea if you’re a fruity person, and the Honey Rose or Jasmine Green tea if you’re a more classic, herbal tea person.
It’s worth noting that the price on these teas is rather steep. I think they’re worth trying out as a treat, but they won’t be making their way into my usual rotation. I can’t bid my afternoon coffee goodbye just yet. Using CBD-infused teas as an occasional healthy alternative, though, is something I think I’ll start doing.
