TAMPA, FL (Sept. 27, 2018) — Tampa entrepreneur Angela Ardolino will host CBD Sessions, a free event providing free education about the therapeutic uses of CBD for pets. CBD Sessions are free and open to the public and will take place on Oct. 6 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Chillum Glass Gallery in Ybor and again on Oct. 13 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Beautify the Beast in Lutz.
“There are still so many misconceptions about CBD and how it can be used to treat pets,” said Ardolino, founder and CEO of CBD Dog Health, owner of Fire Flake Farm, and co-owner of Beautify the Beast. “Learning how CBD works in the body, as well as the positive effects it can have, will help you decide if CBD is right for your family and your pets.”
During CBD Sessions, Ardolino will address common misconceptions about CBD and will answer common concerns, including the legality of hemp CBD, how it works in pets, what research is available, and how CBD interacts in the body to stop common ailments including seizures, anxiety, and joint pain. Guests will have the opportunity to ask questions and discuss the best uses for CBD for pet-specific ailments.
Ardolino, who has a degree in the therapeutic uses of medical cannabis from the University of Vermont, has turned to CBD to treat her own dogs and the animals on her rescue farm, Fire Flake Farm.
“I have rheumatoid arthritis and when my schnauzer, Odie, started suffering from joint pain and stiffness as well as anxiety, I knew that CBD could help him the way that it helped me,” said Ardolino. “My other two dogs, Nina and Jolene, also suffer from thunderstorm anxiety which I have been able to successfully treat with CBD. It sounds too good to be true — but CBD is not magic, it is science and medicine. My goal is to educate as many people as possible how to safely use this life-changing medicine to better their pets’ lives.”
Ardolino founded CBD Dog Health after learning the benefits of CBD. Together with her partner, Dr. Ashok Patel a chemist and essential oils expert, and under the advisement of a veterinarian, Ardolino created CBD Dog Health’s proprietary formulas.
“Whether you choose CBD Dog Health or you are looking to try another company, education is key,” said Ardolino. “My goal is that every guest leaves CBD Sessions feeling empowered and knowledgeable about CBD so that they can make the best choice for their pets.”
The first 25 guests to register for CBD Sessions will receive a free bag of CBD Freeze Dried Salmon Treats from CBD Dog Health. Register online for either session at CBDDogHealth.com/Events.
