Lately, I’ve been exploring different infused drinks, looking for refreshing options that offer a lighter alternative to alcohol.
With that in mind, when my roommates and I started planning our New Years party last month, I wanted to bring something unique to the mix. Having already become a fan of BRĒZ Social Tonics in my day-to-day life, the brand immediately came to mind.
Lemon Elderflower BRĒZ
$40 per 6-pack
2.5 mg THC, 5 mg CBD
1,600 mg lion’s mane
For those who are unfamiliar, BRĒZ is a cannabis-infused drink that combines THC, CBD, and other functional ingredients like lion’s mane mushroom and agave nectar. Each can has 2.5 mg of THC and 5 mg of CBD. This provides a manageable dose for those who want to take the edge off without totally zoning out. What really sets BRĒZ apart, though, is the addition of lion’s mane mushroom, known for its cognitive benefits. In each can, there’s 1,600 mg of lion’s mane extract (about 25 mg of the mushroom itself), which can help improve focus and clarity while supporting relaxation.
When I first tried BRĒZ a few months back, I was immediately impressed with how balanced it felt. It’s not too strong or too subtle, but just enough to put me in a relaxed state without losing my mental edge. The combination of THC, CBD, and lion’s mane creates a unique experience that lets me feel calm but still present. They’re not just for chilling out, they’re for staying mentally sharp while you do it—precisely why I was eager to see how they’d hold up in a social setting and decided to introduce them to the gang.

Sociability
Most of the infused drinks I’ve tried leave me wanting to curl up on the couch—certainly not to party with friends. Either they take forever to kick in, or the effects are too strong, making it hard to stay engaged in conversations. What stood out the most about BRĒZ, however, was that the effects kicked in quickly. The effects were still smooth and steady, offering just the right amount of relaxation to keep me engaged without making me want to retreat to a quieter corner.
With alcohol, we often experience energy crashes or that all-too-familiar “I need to leave” feeling after a few drinks. BRĒZ didn’t leave me tired or sluggish. It helped me stay mentally sharp and clear-headed while still feeling relaxed and in the moment. We could still participate in conversations, stay present with everyone, and enjoy ourselves, minus the typical highs and lows.
Stackability
Each can of BRĒZ only has 2.5 mg of THC, so it’s perfect for sipping over a long evening. I had one at the start of the night, then grabbed another one an hour or so later. By the end of the night, I felt calm, euphoric, and in a great mood. It was a social buzz—not too strong, but just enough to keep things light and fun.
Flavor
BRĒZ tastes really good. While a lot of infused beverages tend to have a weird artificial flavor or bad aftertaste, we found the Lemon Elderflower subtle but refreshing. It’s light and crisp, with no artificial sweetness or chemical aftertaste—the kind of drink that’s easy to sip on all night and another reason I think BRĒZ works so well for social settings. It’s not a heavy or cloying taste. Instead, it’s a drink that actually feels good to sip on.
More Than Just a Party Drink
While BRĒZ was certainly a standout at the New Year’s party, it’s also become one of my go-to drinks even when I’m not hosting. I reach for it when I need to unwind after a busy day or when I need something to help me focus. The combination of THC and CBD gives me just the right amount of relaxation, while the lion’s mane helps me stay sharp.
It’s great when I want something to take the edge off without getting too zonked. If I’m feeling a little stressed or need to clear my mind, having a BRĒZ helps me maintain that calm focus. It’s perfect for balancing out my day, especially when I don’t want to feel too jittery from coffee or too sluggish from alcohol.

Certificate of Analysis (COA) and Quality Assurance
To ensure the highest standards of quality and safety, BRĒZ provides a Certificate of Analysis (COA) for each batch. The COA for the Lemon Elderflower variety indicates the following cannabinoid composition per unit:
Total THC: 2.28 mg
Total CBD: 7.43 mg
While the THC content—which at 2.28 mg is close ot the advertised 2.5 mg per can—isn’t exceptionally high, this ensures a mild but satisfying experience that works well for both novice and seasoned consumers. The total cannabinoid content of 12.29 mg/unit suggests a well-rounded experience with the potential for a rich entourage effect. However, the test results show that the beverage contains a higher CBD content than what the company advertises. The COA also confirms that the product has been rigorously tested for quality, ensuring it’s free from pesticides, heavy metals, mycotoxins, residual solvents, and other contaminants.
Final Thoughts
BRĒZ was a huge success at my New Year’s celebration. They offered guests relaxation and clarity without feeling overwhelmed or disconnected. The ability to sip on them throughout the night made them great for a long party. By the night’s end, many asked where they could buy more, and others followed up, saying they were planning to grab some for Dry January.
That said, BRĒZ is on the higher end of the price spectrum, at around $40 for a six-pack of single-dose cans (more than $6 per can). While the price tag may seem steep, especially compared to other infused drinks with similar cannabinoid profiles, the quality is top-notch.
It’s also worth noting that each can contains 8 grams of added sugar and 30 calories. While not excessive, this may be a consideration for those mindful of sugar intake.
Ultimately, BRĒZ offers a premium product that’s great for special occasions or those looking for a consistent, controlled experience.
